Assumptions

• Hardware prices are the lowest listed price on the linked page on the date shown, in US dollars, before sales tax, shipping and installation. For listings with a range we use the lowest size or variant.
• Subscriptions are charged every year at today's listed price. We don't model price rises, promotions or monthly billing.
• Where the maker says the first year of a plan comes with the hardware (Trackman iO; SkyTrak ST MAX with Core FS), the first year is free. Sources: Trackman, SkyTrak.
• Not included: tax, shipping, a TV or monitor, cables and mounts, flooring and turf, framing hardware, electrical work, room changes (for example a garage door opener), replacement balls and screens, and resale value. Real owners' totals on the builds page show how much these extras can add.
• Make sure the parts work together: a few launch monitors need a specific plan for third-party software like GSPro. Check the subscription table.
